Coiffeuse - Wood, Marble - Art Deco vanity

Dresser / Art Deco console, 1930, Lupia and marble - France Extraordinary Art Deco dresser made in France around 1930. With a simple, refined structure, the piece's main interest lies in the treatment of the wood veneers, whose grains have been carefully arranged in different directions to create geometric compositions with a clearly Deco-inspired style. On the fronts, this orientation game creates triangular and angular shapes that turn the wood itself into the principal ornamental element of the furniture. The sides feature a single, long veneer with a prominently highlighted grain that runs across the entire surface and extends, symmetrically, toward the inner sides. The ensemble is finished with a marble top, whose sobriety contrasts with the movement of the grain. The metal handles, spherical in shape and with a silver finish, introduce a discreet decorative accent; there are three—central register and side doors. It rises on four low, stylized supports with softly sinuous profiles that visually lighten the piece and complete its Art Deco character. Perfect as a vanity, desk, or console; in short, a piece of auxiliary furniture. Minor wear described in the images. Dimensions: 82 x 130 x 43 cm. Shipping conditions The shipping cost indicated by the platform is merely indicative and estimated. Due to the characteristics of some pieces, especially those that are large, heavy, or require specific packaging, the actual transport cost may differ from the platform’s estimate. Shipping will be arranged directly with the buyer once the auction ends. By placing a bid, the buyer expressly agrees to assume the full cost of transporting the won piece. The final shipping amount will be calculated based on the dimensions, weight, declared value, and destination of the goods. Quotes from specialized transport companies will be requested and provided, selecting the most appropriate option to ensure the piece’s safety during transport. Shipping will be carried out under Incoterms DAP (Delivered At Place). Shipping costs will include, if necessary, custom professional packaging, protective materials, logistics management, shipment tracking, and transport insurance. There will be complete transparency in determining costs, providing the buyer with quotations and invoices from the transport companies. No hidden charges or unrelated surcharges to actual packing and transport costs will be applied. By participating in the auction and being awarded the lot, the buyer accepts these shipping terms and commits to paying the transport costs corresponding to the piece’s characteristics and final destination. If preferred, you can collect in-store, and we can arrange to have the item packaged to protect it. We will help in every possible way.
