Art Deco silver-plated tea and coffee set by Wiskemann — 5 pieces (including tray), c. 1930s. An elegant, complete Art Deco tea and coffee set crafted by the renowned Belgian firm Orfèvrerie Bruno Wiskemann (Brussels) in the 1930s. This exquisite set perfectly embodies the geometric minimalism and clean lines characteristic of the height of the Art Deco era. Wiskemann gained international acclaim for the exceptional quality of its silver plating—known as "hotel silver"—which was noted for its incredible durability and ability to retain a luxurious luster. The set comprises five matching pieces: a coffee pot (tall cylindrical body, graceful long spout, hinged lid); h = 20 cm a teapot (squat, stylized body, hinged lid); h = 13 a sugar bowl (with two handles and a removable lid); h = 7 a milk jug (understated design with an open spout and sturdy arched handle); h = 9 and a serving tray (rectangular, with raised edges, designed to hold all the pieces of the set). 35 x 28 Hallmarks and markings: the bases bear authentic factory stamps—the official "WISKEMANN" maker's mark and the classic cross symbol. Factory serial numbers (2176541 and 2176550) and size/capacity designations ("2" and "4") are also present. These markings confirm the unquestionable authenticity and superior craftsmanship of this vintage Belgian set. Photos are part of the description. Will be sent with safe packaging.
