CMC Limited Edition 1:18 Mercedes-Benz W165 Tripolis 1939 #24 Silver die-cast model with box and booklet 2008 DESCRIPTION Year of production of the model 2008 (CMC item No. M-074). Absolute masterpiece in Limited Edition in 1:18 scale produced by the famous high-end model company CMC (Germany). The model faithfully reproduces the legendary Mercedes-Benz W165 with race number #24 (driven by Hermann Lang) which achieved a historic victory at the Tripoli Grand Prix in 1939, offered in the splendid and distinctive Silver livery (metallized silver). A model of extraordinary craftsmanship and construction precision: hood opens and is removable to reveal the compact supercharged V8 engine with volumetrically detailed blower, complete wiring and intake ducts; cockpit finished with a blue fabric seat, four-spoke wooden-wheel steering wheel, analog instrumentation and glass windshield; manually mounted spoke wheels with central hubs and exposed suspensions.
