Classic Engagement Ring with Antique 1.60 ct Diamond Solitaire, c. 1970

The ring is designed to showcase a single diamond: The historic old-cut solitaire weighs approximately 1.60 carats. It is a warm white in colour and has only a few inclusions (J-K, si). The setting, made of airy bars, allows for optimal light entry, enabling the stone to fully display its excellent fire. The setting and band are crafted from high-carat white gold. While the diamond was cut around 1900, the setting was created around 1970. An independent appraisal by the Vienna Dorotheum has confirmed the quality of the materials used and is included with the piece of jewellery. A truly timeless ring – which also carries the unique charm of a historic diamond.
