One of the most important events of the evening, in addition to Reuel Vincent (Executive Chef of ONE Dine at the One World Observatory) who served incredible dishes inspired by Citizen Premier watches, was the breathtaking view from the Observatory, where glimpses of Citizen's headquarters inside the Empire State Building added a symbolic touch to the evening. Citizen Premier debuts with two key collections: the Series 8, featuring modern sport watches with automatic movements, and Attesa, presenting Super Titanium Eco-Drive models with a striking aesthetic. With Citizen's growing popularity among enthusiasts, this new initiative positions the brand as a serious contender in the luxury segment, offering sophisticated watches that remain accessible yet rich in advanced watchmaking technology. A flagship model of the Citizen Premier range is the Series 8. The Citizen 831 model features a refined and angular case design reminiscent of the iconic watches of the 1970s, an aesthetic currently adopted by many brands. It measures 40 mm in diameter and 11.6 mm in thickness, and is made of stainless steel with a natural finish. Designed for versatility and durability, this timepiece with hours and minutes function boasts water resistance up to 100 m, sapphire crystal, and a recessed crown for added protection: solid features for everyday use. The distinguishing element of this edition is the Ice Blue dial, decorated with a textured pattern “inspired by the sunlight sparkling on the clear ocean waters,” evoking a strong sensitivity to Japanese design.
