Circular relief in medieval style made of terracotta

Descriptio Terracotta relief. Measures 21 x 20 cm; with frame 34 x 32 cm. Circular interior scene with two figures seated facing each other under a raised canopy. A small central table is placed between them, while the figures incline their heads and bring their hands together in a gesture of conversation or play. The folds of their garments fall in simple lines, and the textile architecture of the canopy frames the action, focusing attention on the dialogue between the figures. The plain background and the round shape reinforce the compact nature of the composition. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist.
