In a 17th century frame Provenance: Sale, Wotton Auction Rooms, Wotton-under-Edge, Autumn Quarterly Fine and Curated Sale, 16 September 2025, lot 173 Condition Report: The canvas has been relined and presents an unevenly applied varnish throughout. UV light reveals a few slight retouches in the darker pigments of the face, as well as slight retouching in the hair and in the darker pigments of the folds of the drapery. Overall, the canvas appears to be in good condition, although the thick varnish may be masking further restoration.
