Iconic Fine Art Print after Christo & Jeanne-Claude – “The Gates XV” For sale is a high-quality fine art print based on a motif from the famous project “The Gates” by Christo & Jeanne-Claude. Christo and Jeanne-Claude are among the most significant artists of contemporary art and are worldwide known for their spectacular, temporary large-scale projects. Their works possess extraordinary art-historical significance and stable demand in the international collector market. The project “The Gates” was realized in 2005 in Central Park, New York, and is one of the best-known works by the artist duo. Thousands of saffron-colored fabric elements temporarily transformed the park into an impressive, walkable installation – a central example of Land Art and conceptual art. The motif “The Gates XV” is part of this body of work and documents one of the most iconic projects of contemporary art. Since the installation existed only for a short time, photographic and graphic works acquire special significance – they are the lasting testimonies of this ephemeral art. The presented fine art print was produced in offset printing on sturdy paper and impresses with its clear composition and strong color impact. Despite the compact format of approximately 23 × 32 cm, the work develops a concise visual presence. Motive from the “The Gates” series is particularly sought after by collectors because it represents a key work of contemporary art and has a high recognition value. An iconic motif from one of the most important artist duos of our time with clear art-historical relevance.
