CHINA--REPUBLIC. Lot of (3). 1934 6% Chinese Government British Boxer Indemnity Loan. Bonds for 50, 100 and 1000 Pounds. K-850 to K852. Extremely Fine. Signed by Kong Xiang Xi, then Minister of Finance. Complete set of three denominations. According to Kuhlmann, the following numbers remain outstanding for each denomination: 1298, 2581, and 649. The 1000 Pounds is very scarce. The loan was intended to enable completion of the Guangzhou-Hankou Railway and provide supplementary railway funding. Estimate: $700 - $1,000. Provenance: From the Yang Ai Hao Collection. 1934年六釐英金庚款公債50，100及1000鎊。三張。 由時任財政部長孔祥熙簽署。三種面額全套。據庫爾曼記載，各面額存世量分別為：1,298張、2,581張及649張。1,000英鎊券極為少見。此借款旨在使粵漢鐵路得以竣工並提供鐵路補充資金。
