CHINA--PROVINCIAL BANKS. Lot of (2). Kiangsu Bank. 5 Dollars, 1913

CHINA--PROVINCIAL BANKS. Lot of (2). Kiangsu Bank. 5 Dollars, 1913 & ND (1913). P-S1226Ap1 & S1226Ap2. S/M#C121-2. Front & Back Colour Trials. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. Printed by BWC. Phenomenally rare and intricately designed, a uniface pair of Kiangsu Bank 5 Dollar colour trials (PMG calls them proofs) with slight colour differences compared to the issued notes. This is the first time we have had the opportunity to offer the 5 Dollars, despite past experiences with the 1 Dollar and even the 10 Dollars. All are rare, and it is difficult to say whether the 5 Dollar is even rarer than the other two denominations. Regardless, a fabulous pair for your collection of Chinese Provincial Banknotes! Please refer to the description for the 1 Yuan for further information regarding this Bank. Both notes have specimen perforation. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.

Estimation:€892.77
