We present a beautiful Beijing rug, Aubusson-inspired, made between 1970 and 1980. Its elegant composition combines a powder-green background with a wide cream-colored border, decorated with roses, leaves and ornamental motifs. In the center stands a refined floral medallion that provides balance and character to the whole. It is made in wool on cotton using the manual tufting technique. The pile is fixed to the back with a special compound and protected by a textile lining, which perfectly preserves its function and stability.
