China Peking Aubusson - Carpet - 200 cm - 140 cm

We present an elegant Beijing Chinese rug, Aubusson style, crafted during the period 1970-1980. It is woven in wool on a cotton base using manual tufting. In this system, the wool is manually inserted into the base and secured on the back with a special adhesive compound. Finally, a protective textile lining is added to provide stability and protect the entire underside structure. It stands out for its delicate floral design, soft pastel tones, and the beautiful sheen of the wool, which slightly changes with the incidence of light. The rug is in perfect condition, practically like new and barely used, since it has only been placed on the floor on two occasions. The back protective lining is also in excellent condition. We have two identical ones!!!
