We present a beautiful Beijing rug, Aubusson-inspired, made between the years 1970 and 1980. Its elegant composition combines a powdered green background with a wide border in cream tones, decorated with roses, leaves and ornamental motifs. In the center stands a refined floral medallion that adds balance and character to the whole. It is woven in wool on cotton using the manual tufting technique. The pile is fixed on the reverse with a special compound and is protected by a textile lining, which perfectly preserves its function and stability.
