CHINA. China - Germany. Trio of Military Medals (3 Pieces), 1900-1914.

CHINA. China - Germany. Trio of Military Medals (3 Pieces), 1900-1914. Wilhelm II. Grade Range: EXTREMELY FINE to ABOUT UNCIRCULATED. All are attached to a single bar with their ribbons. A neat gathering of medals, each exhibiting mottled patina with much originality and signs of moderate handling. Unfortunately, the Iron Cross ribbon does show signs of degradation while the other two ribbons are intact. A group that would make a nice addition to many collections of German militaria. 1) Iron Cross with black and white ribbon, 1914. Barac-54. Obverse: Oak sprig, crowned "FW" above, "1813" below; Reverse: "W", crown above, "1914" below. 2) Victory in the Boxer Rebellion Bronze Medal, 1901. Vernon-2791. Obverse: German eagle assailing Chinese imperial dragon, within wreath; Reverse: Crowned monogram within wreath. Loop attached at top. 3) Boxer Rebellion Silver Medal, 1900. Marienburg-7170. Obverse: Uniformed bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II facing right; Reverse: Map of China and the Yellow Sea with date and locations.
