CHINA. Chekiang. 3.6 Candareens (5 Cents), ND (1898-99). Hangchow

Impressive Choice Chekiang Minor CHINA. Chekiang. 3.6 Candareens (5 Cents), ND (1898-99). Hangchow Mint. Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS MS-63. L&M-286; K-123A; KM-Y-51; WS-1023. Western denomination as "3.2" in error; variety with distant English legend. An intriguing type that always exhibits an engraver's error on the dragon side, in that the denomination is listed as "3.2" rather than "3.6," this Choice minor abounds with resounding brilliance and luster, with just some tinges of goldenrod adding further character. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000. Provenance: From the Liu Mung Wang (汪柳門) Collection. To view all items from the Liu Mung Wang (汪柳門) Collection, click here. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Estimation:€1,065.78
