China Beijing - Carpet - 250 cm - 168 cm

We present an authentic Beijing Chinese rug, entirely handmade during the period 1960–1970. It is woven with excellent quality wool on a cotton foundation. Its wool is fine, silky, and extraordinarily soft to the touch. The pile has a beautiful shine, changing shade depending on the direction from which it is viewed and the incidence of light. The rug has a fine, light, and very flexible structure; it is not a thick rug. It stands out for the quality of its materials, its delicate floral design, and its elegant color combination. It is in very good condition, with no tears or significant stains. A professional cleaning is recommended to remove accumulated dust and refresh its colors. * Origin: Beijing, China * Era: 1960–1970 * Construction: 100% handmade * Material: high-quality wool on cotton * Dimensions: 250 × 168 cm * Texture: fine, flexible, silky, and very soft to the touch * Condition: very good, without tears or significant stains * Note: a professional cleaning is recommended All our pieces include an individual authenticity certificate with detailed information about their origin, age, materials, and measurements.
