Chest of drawers - Stained wood - Charles de Gaulle Dresser

Copy of the dresser that sits in the Londoner-style office of the Free French Forces leader. Freely inspired by Benneman’s chest for Louis XVI preserved at the Fontainebleau museum. The profile of Charles de Gaulle is cut out in the right medallion. Opposite it, the profile of Marianne. In the center, a Lorraine cross. The key is missing. This one bears No. 21/1000 (?) Identical model sold on 23 June 2013 in Mâcon by Maître Duvillard. Pickup at Saint-Julien-sur-Bibost or delivery in the Lyon region by me.
