Toutes les enchères / Autres / Chess set - Stone
Magnificent and uncommon vintage octagonal-design chess set, crafted with hand-carved pieces in onyx and polished natural marble, presented in its original wooden case. It features an elegant octagonal wooden frame that houses a chessboard in natural stone mosaic. The striking contrast between the dark and cream tones of the stone makes it a true display piece. Complete set of 32 hand-carved pieces with fine details and a smooth, polished finish. Interior lined in deep black velvet with individual compartments designed to securely protect each piece. Good vintage condition with authentic character. Complete set. As is typical in artisanal natural stone pieces, it shows slight signs of aging and small surface nicks/chips on some pieces. An exceptional collectible piece, ideal as a luxury gift or as a sophisticated interior decorative item.
