Ca. 15th - 16th century AD > A gilt copper-alloy figure of Vajrasattva seated in vajraparyankasana on a double-lotus pedestal. He wears a pointed crown, jewellery and flowing scarves, holding a vajra in each hand. Vajrasattva is associated with purification in Vajrayana Buddhism.
