Toutes les enchères / Art Contemporain / Charles Fazzino (1955) - Winter in Manhattan NY

Charles Fazzino is an American artist (born in 1955), creator of Pop-Art 3D. After studying art at Parsons School of Design, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New York School of Visual Arts. In 1996, he became a Disney Licensed Artist at Disney's request. He created numerous derivative works for films such as "The Wizard of Oz" and "Gone with the Wind" as well as for MLB (Major League Baseball) and the NFL (National Football League). His works are composed of three silkscreen prints, each cut by hand with a craft knife. Each piece is then glued back together by hand. By varying the height of the glue points and slightly offsetting the different pieces, the artist accentuates the 3D effect. The artwork is then decorated with glitter and Swarovski crystals before being numbered and signed by hand. His works are featured in the collections of many prominent figures, including Hillary Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Michael Jordan. The plate is 18 x 12.5 cm, mounted with a passe-partout, framed under glass (acrylic glass). He signed and numbered it with a pencil at the bottom. The frame is with the original cardboard with a tape on one edge with the title in Japanese language. The cardboard has bumps and marks (photos). The plate is excellent.
