Certification of the commission as NAVY GUARD granted by His Majesty to Sieur Duvigneau on July 12, 1698: “...Duvigneau was placed on the list of Gentlemen designated to serve as Naval Guards in the Department of ROCHEFORT…” Collated with the original, at ROCHEFORT on January 29, 1727. 1 folio page.
