Decorative Italian floral chandelier – painted metal – lilies – 6 light points – mid-20th century Description Very decorative Italian chandelier crafted in painted metal, with a rich floral design. The chandelier is built around a bouquet of large, three-dimensionally formed lilies, surrounded by gracefully curved leaves and tendrils. The flowers are rendered in cream, red/orange and goldish tones, combined with green leaves. The six light arms are equipped with flower-shaped drip trays and candle sockets. The entire construction is hand-formed and decoratively painted. The organic lines, large flowers and the use of patinated painted metal fit the tradition of Italian floral decorative lighting from the mid-20th century.
