An elegant pair of late 19th-century French parlor side chairs from the Napoleon III period. Crafted from black ebonized wood, the frames showcase the clean, classical geometric lines of the Louis XVI revival movement, complete with a ribbon-carved crest rail and fluted, tapered legs. Both chairs retain their original brass front castors and are upholstered in a warm golden-mustard velvet fabric bordered by a classic textile gimp.
