Ceramiche Boxer - Statue, Zebre con figlio - 22 cm - Ceramic

This is a ceramic sculpture in a classical and naturalistic style, depicting a pair of zebras (a mother with her foal) at a moment of rest. Here are the main details of the work: Subject and Composition Dynamics: The composition is pyramidal and harmonious. The larger zebra lies on the ground in a vigilant position, with one front leg slightly raised, while the foal emerges behind her, creating a sense of protection and depth. Base: The animals rest on an irregular base that simulates grassy terrain, finished with green and ochre shades. Style and Materials Material: This is glazed ceramic. The finish is extremely glossy, typical of decorative productions from the mid-20th century (vintage/retro style). Pictorial Details: The black stripes are painted precisely over the white background, following the musculature of the animals to emphasize their volume. The eyes are defined with small touches of color that give expressiveness to the faces. Atmosphere The statue has a vintage and exotic feel, typical of home decor accessories that sought to bring a touch of wild nature (often associated with the 'Safari' or 'Hollywood Regency' style) into interiors. It is a piece that combines the elegance of black and white with the softness of the curved forms. Ceramiche made in Italy We do not ship to Germany
