Antique 800 Silver Pierced Centrepiece Bowl with Putti – Europe – circa 1900 A beautifully crafted antique solid silver centrepiece bowl executed in finely pierced (ajour) silverwork, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The bowl is richly decorated with elegant openwork panels featuring floral garlands, stylised foliage and ornamental scrollwork. The central medallion displays a charming repoussé scene depicting several playful cherubs (putti) surrounded by flowers and a romantic natural landscape.
