Cegaro - Statue

Impressive bronze sculpture of a powerful male figure in an expressive, almost monumental pose. The kneeling figure raises his gaze upward, with both arms open and the palms of the hands raised. The combination of the muscular anatomy, the powerful body posture and the expression on the face gives the work a special aura. A sculpture that from different viewing angles reveals a different character each time. The bronze has a warm, deep patina that nicely accentuates the modeling and fine surface details. Especially in the face, the hands and the anatomical detailing, a lot of detail is visible. The statue stands on a heavy, dark-veined marble plinth. The combination of warm bronze and dark natural stone gives the whole a luxurious and gallery-worthy appearance. What is notable is that the statue is provided with both a signature and a separate foundry/mould stamp. These markings are clearly photographed and form part of the presentation of the object. A powerful and decorative work of art that sits well in a modern or classical interior, office, entrance, gallery or collection.
