Original set consisting of three Crate chairs and a matching coffee table, designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld and produced by Cassina in the 1980s. The set belongs to the famous Crate series, characterized by the simple wooden construction and the rationalist aesthetics typical of Rietveld's design. The three chairs and the coffee table bear Cassina markings, consistent with production of the era. The set is kept in good overall condition, considering its age. There are normal signs of use and a natural patina of the wood, testifying to use over the years. There are no breaks or structural problems: the pieces are solid and usable.
