Her work has been featured in international publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The World of Interiors, Artribune and ELLE Decoration. One of her works is part of the permanent collection of the Copelouzos Family Art Museum (Greece), whose collection also includes works by internationally renowned artists. Her artworks are held in international private collections and are officially certified by I-CAC (France). ⸻ EMERGETISM — THE ARTIST’S PHILOSOPHY Carolina Bellachi develops her work within Emergetism, her own artistic philosophy. The term does not refer to the concept of an “emerging artist,” but rather to the act of emerging into one’s own inner self. Following her studies in Psychology, the artist incorporates into her practice an exploration of perception, consciousness and the inner evolution of the human being. Through movement, light, glazes and the superimposition of different layers, her works seek to invite the viewer to pause and experience the present moment, where the senses become heightened and contemplation becomes a form of connection with oneself. The artwork does not seek to impose an interpretation: it acts as a medium that, through the contemplation of colour, light and movement from the present moment, leads the viewer toward a connection with their deepest inner self. The artwork acts as a mirror, a reflection of the observer, allowing contemplation to become an experience of awareness and connection with the present moment. ⸻ DESCRIPTION OF THE ARTWORK “Génesis Nº 22” belongs to the Génesis series, an exploration of origin, transformation and the emergence of matter and light. In this piece, blues and turquoise tones emerge from a clear and luminous atmosphere, gradually evolving toward an area of greater depth and material density. Whites, deep blues and delicate mineral nuances intertwine through different layers, creating an organic and dynamic composition. Matter takes on particular prominence in the central and lower areas of the artwork, where reliefs, glazes and variations in texture create a surface in constant transformation. The perception of the piece changes according to the incidence of light, the viewing distance and the position from which it is contemplated. Within Emergetism, Génesis Nº 22 uses the contemplation of light, colour and movement as a means of directing attention toward the present moment. The artwork acts as a mirror, a reflection of the observer, inviting them to suspend mental interpretation and connect with their deepest inner self. ⸻ ORIGINALITY & GUARANTEE All artworks by Carolina Bellachi are unique and original pieces, entirely handmade, signed and certified.
