Canduela - Tauro 2

The series of convex spaces is developed in welded and painted steel, mounted on a stone base. The sculptures in this series play with individual convex pieces that form a single sculptural space when assembled. The interplay of rotations, movements, and assembly generates a complex shape with a wide variety of viewpoints, with many nuances and nooks. This collection of sculptures is presented in series of 10 unique units, numbered and signed by the artist. The vivid color with which the sculptures are presented transports us to contemporary architecture, to industrial manufacturing, or to cutting-edge design, if we move away from the sculptural viewpoint. The challenge these pieces aim to achieve is to combine all these visions without distorting any of them. On this occasion the series revolves around the symbolism of the bull and the anthropomorphic bull, the minotaur. The piece belongs to a series of 10; each unit is handmade and may present slight differences from the photo.
