Slight creases visible Printed by the renowned Fernand Mourlot workshop, it is part of a prestigious illustrated portfolio that showcases the evolution of printmaking techniques in the 20th century Camille Hilaire (1916-2004) was a French artist born in Metz, recognized as a major painter influenced by Cubism and Post-Impressionism. To avoid forced conscription during the Occupation, he studied clandestinely at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris under the pseudonym Leblanc. A multifaceted creator, he expressed his talent through painting, lithography, stained glass, mosaic, and tapestry. He later shared his expertise by becoming an art professor in Nancy, then at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
