Luigi Calegaro opened the eponymous shop in 1921, becoming the fourth silversmith of Padua with the 4PD mark. In the years around the postwar period, artisanal pieces production grew rapidly, reaching the highest standards of quality. The second generation led by his son Francesco helped to solidify the Calegaro name worldwide. Today, the company stands as a solid representation of Made in Italy and its excellence and elegance in the creation of luxury silverware, jewelry, tableware, cutlery, and design objects. Its brand has contributed to the evolution of taste, habits, traditions, and creative trends, collaborating with major international brands such as Tiffany & Co., Bulgari, Hermès, Buccellati, and many others.
