Antique ice-cube tongs made of 800 silver with finely pierced vase decoration. ​Description: High-quality historical cake server with an artfully shaped blade, original 800 mark, and a stylishly fluted wooden handle in very good condition. The piece stylistically and in terms of manufacture dates from the late Historicism or Neoclassicism period around 1880 to 1910. The purity mark with the “800” punch, without the German Reichskrone and crescent, also points to production before or around 1888 or to origin from the Central European region of that era.
