Cabinet - Wood, High-end Italian cabinetry.

Elegant small Italian early 20th-century dresser – 18th-century taste, serpentine front A refined piece of compact proportions, capable of containing in only 60 centimeters of width the charm of traditional Italian dressers. Dating from the early years of the 20th century, according to available information, it features an 18th-century aesthetic, with references to the Louis XV style and Rococo language. What characterizes it above all is the sinuous serpentine front: the three drawers follow a gently undulating pattern, echoed by the horizontal moldings and the base profile. This continuity of lines gives movement and harmony to the furniture, while keeping an overall sober and balanced appearance. The wooden surfaces show warm amber tones and clearly visible grain. On the fronts of the drawers, the arrangement of the veneer creates central panels bounded by peripheral bands, forming an elegant geometric design. The visible side also features a rectangular mirrored inlay. The finish appears compatible with walnut or related wood species. Each drawer is embellished with two hanging metal drop-pull handles, six in total, with decorative attachments and a dark finish. The upper surface, slightly protruding and shaped, completes the volume of the piece; the lower band has a waved profile that connects to the supports, with short, shaped feet. * Three stacked drawers with serpentine fronts. * Wooden surfaces with visible grain and decorative bands. * Six hanging metal drop-pull handles. * Protruding upper surface with moulded edge. * Shaped base and short, curved feet. * Dimensions: height 66 cm, width 60 cm, depth 32 cm. Patinated surface, with signs of use, scratches and small irregularities or missing parts, especially along the edges and at the bottom of the feet. These details tell its history and should be assessed in the photos. Excellent drawer operation and good internal condition. A completely original item, unrestored. Thanks to its compact size, this small dresser is suitable for enhancing an entryway, a bedroom, or a corner of the living room. The warmth of the wood and the softness of the profiles make it particularly pleasant even next to contemporary furnishings, as an antique feature with character.
