(C) RARE PRE-WAR SMITH & WESSON MODEL 1905 4TH CHANGE TARGET REVOLVER. This model offered from 1915 through 1942. Built on the square butt K-frame, 5-screw with pinned barrel and the high polish blue finish. This is the scarce target version with a Patridge front sight, an flush fitted adjustable rear sight, round top frame, blued finish and has a pair of pre-war silver medallion diamond grips with matching number. Matching numbers on frame, barrel and cylinder. Case color checkered hammer with patent and serrated trigger. CONDITION: Excellent retaining over 90% of its bright blue showing a light drag line, light muzzle wear and handling only. Mechanically fine with a bright bore. Strong colors with excellent grips. This is the very scarce target version.
