18K yellow gold vintage bracelet with 6 amethysts. Attributed to H. Stern Summary description: Exclusive vintage articulated-design bracelet made in 18-karat yellow gold (750/1000). The piece consists of striped sculptural links in the shape of a bow that host 6 natural amethysts in oval faceted cuts. Stones analysed by expert appraisers of the auction house Balclis (Barcelona), who have certified them as natural violet‑colored amethysts of the highest quality and saturation. * Material: 18K yellow gold (18K hallmarks on the clasp). * Attribution: Attributed to the firm H. Stern (vintage design ca. 1970–1980). The company where the owner’s father was an executive from the late 70s to the early 90s. * Gems: 6 natural amethysts in oval faceted cut (10 mm × 8 mm × 5 mm each). * Estimated gem weight: ~2.40 ct per stone / ~14.40 cts total. * Color quality: Intense violet (assessed by Balclis Barcelona). * Clasp: Integrated box clasp with side safety latch in the shape of an eight. * Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light signs of use appropriate to its era. This high jewelry piece comes directly from the legacy of Francisco "Frank" Payá, a renowned gemologist (GIA-certified by the Gemological Institute of America, 1983) and international senior executive in the luxury sector. Mr. Payá had an elite career in the mid-20th century: he served as manager of Joyerías Mercurio (Panama) in the 1960s, worked in the manufacturing sector in Pforzheim (Germany) in the 1970s, and later held senior executive roles at the prestigious H. Stern firm on Fifth Avenue in New York (late 70s to early 90s) and was International Expansion Director at Carrera y Carrera.
