Vintage sewing cabinet / worktable with yellow scoubidou cord – 1950s–1960s Atmospheric vintage wooden sewing cabinet on a black metal base, presumably from the 1950s or 1960s. The warm wood tone, slanted metal legs and the striking yellow cordwork give this piece of furniture a charming look, typical of interiors of that period. The two upper storage compartments can be unfolded outward via an accordion- or scissor-mechanism. Under the hinged lids there are divided compartments for sewing tools. The spacious lower compartment provides room for larger supplies. The base features an integrated holder with yellow scoubidou- or lanyard-work, suitable for magazines, wool or handicrafts. A decorative and practical piece of furniture that also looks nice next to an armchair.
