Description: A square lid-box made of light wood on two small hinges. Strips in olive green and ochre run as inlaid work over the lid and sides. In the center of the lid lies an oval cartouche. Inside: orange carnations with round leaves, terracotta flowers, buds and seed pods, surrounding the name Leona. Each side bears half a cartouche. Everything is hand-drawn and painted, the lines probably lightly incised; the grain of the wood shows through the color. The inner rims also carry a checkered band.
