Elegant Napoléon III style jewelry box in gilded brass finely chiselled with a scrolling decoration. The lid is adorned with an engravings of a beveled glass etched with a floral motif. Inside remains with its original blue turquoise fabric capitonnage. Stands on four ball feet. Beautiful antique patina with signs of use consistent with its age. Decorative piece and collectible dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century. Condition: Engraved glass present and intact; Hinge functional; Inner lining original preserved; Wear to gilding and oxidation traces; Inner fabric shows stains, discoloration and wear; Slight deformations and signs of use due to age.
