Bowl - Silverplated, Glass - Bowl with griffins

A very fine silver plated Empire style bowl with four griffins and a beaded handle The bowl comes with its original satin glas liner with transparent rim. Probably used for berries or as a small fruit bowl 19th century Measuring ca. Diameter 18 cm, height 12/20 cm without/with handle Condition:: Very good without chips, cracks or repairs. The glass liner with some black scratches. These can probably be removed with a paste of baking soda and warm water. The scratches are not visible when the liner sits in the bowl.
