The work translates a daily reality into a visual language of repetition and rhythm. CentraI is the tension between control and temptation, two forces that constantly vie for primacy. Each work consists of a box filled with insulin syringes, hand-arranged into a pattern on a wooden substrate. The placement requires patience and precision; the repetition that arises evokes the routines by which a life is structured, whether diabetes is involved or not. A plexiglass cover completes the work, temptation visible but just out of reach. Shipping The artwork is shipped in the original box. Shipping costs are for the buyer.
