The work translates a daily reality into a visual language of repetition and rhythm. Central to the piece is the tension between control and temptation, two forces vying for priority. Each work consists of a box filled with insulin syringes, hand-arranged into a pattern on a wooden substrate. The act of placing them requires patience and precision; the resulting repetition evokes the routines that structure a life, whether or not diabetes is involved. A plexiglass cover closes the work, temptation that remains visible, but just out of reach. Shipping The artwork will be shipped in the original box. Shipping costs are for the buyer.
