Bottle vase - Height: 31 cm - Ceramic

This slender-necked bottle vase with a long narrow neck, featuring a bulbous body in white ceramic, presents a geometric abstract decoration in Mid-Century style inspired by the 1950s, with black grid patterns, vertical lines on the slender neck, and touches of yellow, blue, and gray. Motifs: A network of black grid lines, hatching, yellow and blue circles, as well as mottled patterns reminiscent of modernist or abstract pop art. The vase bears a stamp "Theodor Meyer, Bern, 1820". The vase has always served as a decorative object and has never been used. We acquired it in the 1980s-1990s.
