Bookends - Set of 2 sculptural bookends – Reading figures...

Striking set of two decorative bookends, executed as sitting human figures, each reading a book. The sculptures are created in a bold combination of high-gloss black and metallic silver-toned accents. The organic linework follows the contours of the body and gives the figures a modern, almost graphic appearance. The two figures are designed to be placed with their backs to each other, with the books positioned between the sculptures. They are thus not only functional bookends, but together form a striking decorative art object. Thanks to the pronounced monochrome design, the bookends fit superbly within a modern, contemporary, minimalist, or luxurious interior. Beautiful on a bookshelf, desk, sideboard, office, library, or as a standalone design object. The high-gloss finish provides attractive reflections and emphasizes the sculptural forms from different viewing angles.
