Art Deco vase designed by Charles Catteau for Boch Frères, La Louvière (Belgium). This is model 1118, a characteristic form known as the 'pineapple', recognizable by its oval body entirely structured with a geometric relief pattern and its remarkable stepped neck. The vase is made in a beautiful cream-white glazed ceramic. The glossy glaze shows a network of firing cracks, particularly visible in close-up photographs and characteristic of its aged appearance.
