Black Opal Cabochon – Intense play of color on a deep

This exceptional Black Opal cabochon fascinates with a deep-dark blue-green base body and an exceptionally intense play-of-color. Depending on the incident light and viewing angle, vivid greens, blues, reds, oranges, and yellows glow from the interior of the cabochon, forming a lively, constantly changing color display. In particular, the intense neon-green patches stand in strong contrast to the dark background and are complemented by fine red and orange color flashes. The carefully rounded and high-gloss polished cabochon shape brings the optical depth and the natural color play of the opal into particularly effective relief. Through the combination of dark body color, high color saturation and diverse color changes, it creates an expressive jewelry and collector’s piece whose appearance presents itself anew from every angle.
