Big Ben - Zonder minimumprijs - Pipe - Briar, Vulcanite

Big-Ben Bruyère de Luxe 23360 – Vintage Briar Pipe – 9 mm Filter An elegant vintage Big-Ben Bruyère de Luxe with a rounded bowl, gracefully curved saddle stem and particularly attractive briar grain. Estimated period: circa 1960s–1980s. The precise production date has not been established. Fine birdseye and flowing flame grain complement the warm reddish-brown finish. This pipe has seen very little smoking and has been conservatively restored. The original bowl finish has been preserved, gently polished and finished with carnauba wax. The rim has been carefully cleaned, revealing its attractive grain. The vulcanite mouthpiece has been deoxidised, with shallow tooth impressions carefully removed before sanding and polishing. The result is a smooth, glossy black stem that complements the richly coloured briar. The “BIG-BEN / BRUYÈRE DE LUXE” nomenclature and number “23360” remain legible, as does the TV-style logo on the mouthpiece. The pipe accommodates a standard 9 mm filter. Presented in very good restored estate condition, with minor signs of previous use and age. Please examine the photographs as part of the condition description. A handsome example of vintage Dutch pipe design, distinguished by its beautiful wood and well-preserved original character. Approximate dimensions: *Length 13 cm. *Tobacco chamber 19x40 mm. This item will be carefully packed and shipped with full insurance. The PipeLab – Estate Pipe Restoration “Restoring pipes, not erasing their history.”
