This education should be provided in a safe, healthy, and loving environment where children can develop and flourish. By providing education, we increase these children's chances of a better future. The goal of the Uncle Sams Foundation is to increase the percentage of impoverished children attending school by 30%. In a village where 90% of schools are established by entrepreneurs for profit, the high costs make it impossible for 60% of the impoverished children and orphans in Kirwanira to attend school. Establishing an Uncle Sams Foundation School—funded by donations from friends, family, and businesses in the Netherlands—will allow school costs to be significantly reduced. This will ensure that more than 200 impoverished children gain access to primary education over the next five years.
