Bell jar (2) - Glass - 1900-1910 - 50 cm

Decorative flower arrangement under a tall glass dome on a black wooden base with small feet. The arrangement consists of artificial flowers in soft cream- and brown-toned colors, combined with green leaves and wire stems. The white porcelain vase is richly adorned with gold-colored accents, openwork ornaments and a small religious figurine in a niche. Probably produced in the late 19th or early 20th century. The exact origin and maker are unknown. Condition: the glass dome has no cracks. The flowers show discoloration, wear and some loose or damaged parts. The wooden base shows signs of use and age, and localized loss of finish. Please examine the photos carefully; they are part of the description.
