Bed tray - Eduardiana - Wood, Brass - Sheraton

Due to its formal characteristics, this piece leans more toward the Edwardian taste inspired by Sheraton and neoclassicism than to the late Victorian style. The combination of refined lines, a pierced brass gallery, and balanced proportions follows the English models of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, drawing on the legacy of Thomas Sheraton and English neoclassical elegance. Magnificent large-format serving tray crafted in noble wood with a high-quality polished finish, enriched by an elegant mount of gilded brass that showcases luxury craftsmanship. Its design, inspired by the refined Edwardian Sheraton tradition, stands out for the harmony of its proportions and the understated, distinguished lines. The surface features an attractive grain in deep reddish mahogany tones, carefully selected to enhance the natural beauty of the wood. The glossy finish adds depth and visual richness, creating an elegant contrast with the metal elements that surround the piece. The perimeter is protected by a delicate pierced gilded brass gallery with geometric motifs repeated, a decorative resource characteristic of the finest English and Continental trays inspired by the neoclassical repertoire. This gallery serves not only a practical purpose but also provides visual lightness and a pronounced sense of refinement. The edges are finished with fine gilded moldings and side metal handles that facilitate transport and reinforce its distinguished character. The quality of materials and the precision of the finishes suggest a piece intended for elegant interiors, conceived for both service and decoration. This type of tray was typically used to present liqueurs, tea or coffee service, in addition to being an attractive decorative element on side tables, buffets, or consoles. With a strong decorative presence and extraordinary versatility, this tray represents the Edwardian taste for discreet luxury and artisanal excellence. Its combination of noble woods, gilded brass, and neoclassical design makes it a piece of notable elegance, ideal for collectors of English furniture as well as for classic interiors, hotels, or spaces inspired by traditional British aesthetics. Tracked shipping and careful packaging.
