A particularly attractive early UK mono copy of With The Beatles, housed in the sought-after original-style "GOTTA" misprint sleeve. This is a scarce and highly desirable combination for the specialist Beatles collector. The rear sleeve contains one of the best-known early Beatles printing errors: "You Really Gotta Hold On Me" instead of the correct title, "You Really Got A Hold On Me". This mistake first appeared on the earliest November 1963 issues and was subsequently corrected. Interestingly, a number of the earlier misprinted sleeves continued to be used with later records, including examples with the XEX 447-7N / XEX 448-7N matrices found here. That makes this a very appealing transitional combination for the specialist Beatles collector. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): A very solid original laminated UK sleeve showing only moderate age-related wear. The famous "You Really Gotta Hold On Me" misprint remains clearly visible on the rear. Some light creasing to the laminate is present, but the rear remains clean and presentable. Importantly, the spine is still fully readable and the overall structure is very strong → VG+ Vinyl (EX): A remarkably attractive example. The vinyl retains an excellent deep gloss and presents very cleanly, especially impressive for an original 1960s Beatles mono LP. Only very light signs of previous handling or play can be seen.
